One of the excellent features of the Microsoft Whiteboard, is being able collaborate and share ideas. This is even better when you can work outside your organisation. The feature is now rolling out which was under Feature ID 66759 on the public Microsoft Roadmap. In that case, you must enable external Microsoft Whiteboard access.
Full official documentation is available here.
To enable this, you must first set this up on SharePoint Online to allow the use of Fluid Components. To enable this, log into SharePoint Online with PowerShell and run the command below to enable it.
Connect-SPOService -url https://*org-name*-admin.sharepoint.com eg. Connect-SPOService -url https://contoso-admin.sharepoint.com Set-SPOTenant -IsFluidEnabled $true
Once that PowerShell command has been run, it can take up to 60 minutes for it to replicate. Whilst that is happening, you can head to the Office 365 Admin Center and enable OneDrive for Microsoft Whiteboard. Just search for Whiteboard at the top and then check the box at the bottom and then click Save.
And that is all there is to enabling external access for Microsoft Whiteboard in your Microsoft Teams meetings.
